What will you remember Whitney Houston by? R.I.P Whitney Houston

Absolutely, without argument, one of the GREATEST voices to ever grace our ears, Whitney Houston has unexpectedly passed at 48. Whitney is the very embodiment of grace, talent, class, and beauty and to know that we will never hear her belt her classic hits, “I Have Nothing”, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, and “I Will Always Love You”, is probably the most heartwrenching blow. A true legend, Whitney will without a doubt be missed and our hearts and our sincere prayers of comfort go out to her family in their time of bereavement. Her personality, her humble spirit blessed us all, but to them she was so much more than her talent. Before she took the stage, before she graced the big screen, she was a mother, a wife, an auntie, and a friend first and foremost. Rest in peace Whitney, you deserve all the peace and joy your weary soul is now enjoying.

We have lost an iconic figure way to soon, a person who stunned the world with a gorgeous smile and beautiful voice. We will NOT focus on the negatives of Whitney Houston I would like Whitney to be remembered for the many great things we have grown to love her for. Whitney Houston was cited as the most-awarded female act of all time in the Guinness World Records, her list of awards includes two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, and 22 American Music Awards, among a total of 415 career awards as of 2010. Whitney Houston has sold over 170 million albums, singles and videos worldwide.  Inspired by prominent soul singers in her family, including her mother Cissy Houston, cousins Dionne Warwick and Dee Dee Warwick, and her godmother Aretha Franklin, Houston began singing with New Jersey church’s junior gospel choir at age 11. After she began performing alongside her mother in night clubs in the New York City area, she was discovered by Arista Records label head Clive Davis. Houston released seven studio albums and three movie soundtrack albums, all of which have diamond, multi-platinum, platinum or gold certification. There is so many great things we can all remember Whitney Houston a true star.
